Rev Ebenezer Botwi
Rev. Ebenezer Botwi is an accomplished finance and administration professional with over 24 years of experience in financial analysis and reporting. As Director of Finance and Administration at the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), he provides strategic leadership and oversight of the Authority’s financial and administrative functions, ensuring the effective management of resources, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and institutional accountability.
Prior to joining MiDA, Rev. Botwi served in various leadership and management roles, including Chief Accountant in the State-Owned Enterprises Unit of the National Accounts Department at the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department, Acting Director of Finance at GBC, and General Manager, Finance and Administration at Halvila Oil, where he led computerization initiatives to migrate the institution from manual accounting to computerized accounting. He also undertook staff training and development in advanced Excel for corporate reporting.
He holds an MSc in Accounting and Finance from the University of Ghana and a Master of Arts in Ministry from Trinity Theological Seminary, Legon. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
Rev. Botwi’s areas of expertise include financial planning, analysis, budgeting, and reporting; advanced Excel and financial modelling; public financial management; procurement and contract administration; risk management; corporate governance; strategic planning; organizational administration; and stakeholder engagement. He also has a keen interest in music and evangelism.
